Engineering competence

in third generation

After 14 years of professional excellence as a Senior Engineer at the renowned Architects Professor Sobotka and Professor Müller in Berlin, Heinz Ruths decides to set up his own business. He enters new territory with the creation of a construction management office, a right and pioneering decision as it is shown by subsequent developments. On 1st August 1975 Heinz Ruths founds the BIC INGENIEUR-CONSULTING GMBH.


Further course

Upon completing his studies at the Technical University Berlin, Olaf Ruths joins his father‘s company and becomes his successor later on at the forefront of BIC.

He decides for IT solutions and becomes at this early hour of computer ere a pioneer for the use of computer based information and communication media.

Oliver Ruths continues in the third generation in this traditional, familyowned enterprise by assuming his professional activities on 1st November 2003 after having completed his studies in Civil Engineering at the Technical University Berlin. Since the foundation of the company a construction volume of more than 10 billion Euros was handled. New accents are set with the intensification of the international business, the use of new media in the interaction between clients and partners
